Westside Church is hosting a mission trip to Quito, Ecuador July 15 to July 24, 2025. There will be ministry efforts for women, youth and children with our partner church in Quito, The Bridge Church. We will also be building a house for a family that has a great need. No building skills? No worries! There is something for everyone, so you don’t need to know how to build. Cost per person is estimated around $1600/$1700. This includes all expenses while in Quito. Email Brad King at bkingomaha@hotmail.com or call 402-216-8909. Daddy Daughter Dance is April 4, 2025, from 6:30–8:30pm. Dads and daughters of all ages are invited to have fun together on this special evening. Tickets are $15 per person. Tickets can be purchased online starting Sunday, March 9.

Choir and Orchestra rehearsals begin Monday, February 10, in preparation for the March 9 services and April 20 (Easter Sunday) services. Instrumentalists (High School through adult) and vocalists (Middle School through adult) are invited to participate. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 6:45 – 8:00 pm. Orchestra meets in the Worship Center, and Choir rehearsals are in Music Suites B-C.

Surviving the holidays can be hard. For people who’ve lost a loved one, the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons can be bleak. This lay-led event offers coping tools and support for grieving congregation members and people in your community. Please join us on Wednesday, November 13th from 6:00-8:00pm in room 106.

Couples are invited for a date night at the Skate Ribbon in The RiverFront Park, downtown Omaha on Saturday, October 12, 6-8pm. There will be roller skating, bocce ball, and frisbee for a night of games and fellowship. The cost of skating is covered and there will be a table with snacks as well! Childcare for kiddo’s birth to 5th grade is available at the church from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Registration is required for childcare.

Hy-Vee will be grilling up hamburgers and hotdogs, which we’ll serve in the west parking lot for a free will donation (cash or check). Bounce houses will be available for the kids. There will be an opportunity to be baptized outside, please bring dark shorts or leggings and a towel; we’ll provide a baptism t-shirt. Calling all students in 6th through 12th grade! Westside YTH is kicking off our Wednesday night gatherings for our Fall semester! We have a very intentional and fun semester planned that is designed to grow high schoolers and middle schoolers alike, closer to Christ. It all starts on August 14th from 6-8pm in the Big Room!
